Summer Pousman's Interviews

Ana Treviño, Junior, English Major, 20

"When someone touches you or gets too close inappropriately. When they are creeping on you."

"No, I have not."

"Be very observant and aware of your surroundings. Help out if you see a guy being creepy to a girl."

"Texas State should listen to the victims more and provide other resources other than getting statements and then put the case away."

"Any unwanted or non-consensual sexual contact. Whether that be just touching, grabbing, or penetration with digits, genitals, or object of some sort."

"Yes, I have been sexually assaulted on multiple occasions. My sexual assault experiences have ranged from groping to basically rape."

"I feel like collectively as a society we should stop victim blaming."

"I think that if someone has been sexually assaulted, they can keep their anonymity if they so choose. If there is one person that keeps coming up and keeps being accused of sexual assault, the school should go through further discipline to expel them. Their actions should go on their academic transcript and the rapist should be forced to go to counseling throughout the semester and actually participate."
